Who's Grams?

Hi my name is Camille and I'm the one behind Grams Illustration. I started drawing when I was very young and since then, art as been one of the most important thing in my life.

When I discovered that I could make it my job, I put everything into making it a reality.

I studied in graphic design in Cegep, it helped in the marketing and design part of being an entrepreneur but it lacked the drawing aspect I craved so much.

I then moved to Montreal and did an art course. M.AN.A in the college salette. It though me the foundamentals in drawing and push my drawing skills further.

After school, I worked in a daycare full-time, still working on my business, then part-time. My illustrator carrer taking more and more time.

I now live in a beutiful house with my fiance. Who supports my dream. I have my own office and I work very hard every day to make this dream come true.

In the last few years, I learned a very big thing about myself . I was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. It changed how I viewed myself in a positive light, but also showed me why I was so important for me to succeed. A normal 9 to 5 , is extremely hard and exhausting for me. Working from home, being my own boss and working on my hyperfocus everyday is how I thrive.

How I make my illustrations

When I bough my first tablet, it changed my whole perspective. I had finally found my medium.

I worked on a iPad air on Procreate. I found that it is the best way for me to make my art. I can change colors and have the most bright and interesting colors. I can also draw whenever I want to and I don't need to carry a bunch of material!
